Head to the Arts Westchester Gallery in White Plains where, on Friday, Jan. 19 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. the local knit and crotchet group will make hats for area march participants.
The hats will be donated to the gift shop and sell for $7.
The knitting activity will occur against the backdrop of ArtsWestchester’s current contemporary art exhibit, “Give Us the Vote,” inspired by the centennial anniversary of the women’s right to vote in New York State.
The free exhibit -- open to the public through Feb. 10 -- features a special focus on the current state of voting rights in America.
ArtsWestchester is at 31 Mamaroneck Avenue.
